Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for the release of his film multi-starrer film Khel Khel Mein. Co-starring Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Amny Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal, the film is all set to release on 15th August. As he is busy promoting the film with his co-stars, he recently made a revelation that left everyone shocked.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, when Fardeen pointed out that Tom and Jerry was one of his favourites when it comes to comedy shows. Kumar went on to find out that as per him Tom and Jerry is a violent show and not a comedy show. He went on to explain that he draws inspiration from the popular cartoon for his action sequences. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the Sarfira actor said, “Tom and Jerry is not comedy. As Vaani objected to his views, Akshay added, “I’ll tell you one secret. So many action scenes I have done a lot of times I have taken it from Tom and Jerry. That whole helicopter scene, I have taken it from Tom and Jerry.” The 56-year-old actor added that he has also taken inspiration for his stunts from the National Geographic channel. On the work front, last seen in Sarfira, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Khel Khel Mein, Singham Again, Sky Force, Hera Pheri 3, Kannappa, and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle in his pipeline. He will also be making his debut in the Marathi film industry with Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. He will essay Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s role.
